Zarb's Destiny and 2008 Colt by Ide

Zarb's Destiny -  2002 TB mare by Zarbyev out of Star of Destiny. The Billabong aquired Zarb's Destiny in March, 2007. 'Zarb' is a very gentle mare who has established herself as the head mare in the SouthEast pasture. A winner at  3 over the mile, Zarb has an excellent mix of speed and stamina. She is a slightly built mare lending herself more to an arabian look. Zarb has a 2008 colt by IDE at her side and will be bred to K One King for a 2009 foal.

Prissy's Day

Prissy's Day - 2005Bay TB mare by Storm Cat out of Prissy's Legacy. We purchased Prissy at auction in April 2008 and sent her directly to Landlock Equine Center to be bred to McCabe for a 2009 foal. This will be Prissy's first foal. Her second dam, Run Prissy Run, was Louisiana Broodmare of the Year in 2002. Her dam, Prissy's Legacy has produced Black Type winners. Prissy herself raced briefly, running 3rd three times and finally retiring due to injury. Prissy arrived at the Billabong on May 17th, 2008, confirmed in foal to McCabe. She's turning out to be quite prissy, only eating carrots in small pieces and not open to breaking them up herselfSmile. She's a sweet-natured mare and I look forward to seeing her foal.

Lacy Ann joined our broodmare band in January, 2007. She was already in foal to an A Line stallion at the time and gave birth in February, 2007 at The Billabong. Lacy is a stout, dappled mare with a light golden color. She foaled easily and has been an absolute pleasure to handle. Lacy is an extremely easy breeder and is currently in foal to Majestic Prince for a February/March 2009 baby.
